Built in 1932, the Raffles Grand Hotel d' Angkor has finally been restored to the majesty of the past, ocmplementing the grandeur of Angkor as never before. In addition to the meticulous restoration of the French-colonial architectural and decorative styles, some of the original features of yhe hotel were preserved.

In 1932, the hotel was the only building to have a cage elevator. Now the restored original resides in the lobby. The 60,000 square metres of gardens have also been restored with over 20,000 flowering plants, shrubs and local trees.
